WINE BLENDING AFTEROON TEAM BUILDING CHALLENGE

Our tour guide will pick you and your guests up at your hotel at 1:30 p.m. and escort everyone to an afternoon of team building wine blending at a very popular winery.

Your team will be inspired and motivated by this activity! A unique team-building experience that allows guests to participate in an interactive, hands-on blending experiment. Guests will have an opportunity to work together to create their own special blend of wine modeled after an award winning wine.

Each team will participate in the bottling process of their unique special brand. This fun event will not only educate your participants about the wine making process but will also sharpen negotiating skills, improve team collaboration and communication skills. The final blends will be judged and prizes will be awarded for the most popular blend.

FLAMING FOODIE WINE TOUR
Groups of 25 or more!

Our tour guide will pick you and your guests up at your hotel at 12:00 p.m. and escort everyone to a hands on appetizer cooking class and taste wine seminar at a well know winery.

With this class the groups are divided into two sections, one group moves into the Wine Country Cooking School to prepare a selection of appetizers while the other goes into the classroom or the barrel cellar for an interactive wine education seminar. Then it's time for both sections to switch and enjoy the opposite seminar. Then everyone will enjoy their appetizers creations paired with wines.

Typical recipies include Fresh Vegetable Rolls with Peanut Sauce, Phyllo Triangles, Crepe Rolls and Peach Chutney with old Cheddar.

BLIND WINE TASTING CHALLENGE IN THE VINEYARD
For groups of 20 or more guests

Our tour guide will pick you and your guests up at your hotel and escort everyone to an afternoon of team building exercises in the vineyard. Also included In your package is a delicious three course lunch or three course dinner at the Bench Mark Winery Restaurant in beautiful Niagara on the lake.

TEAM BUILDING CHALLANGE:
Hidden amongst the 30 acres of teaching vineyards will be five (5) tasting stations, each of which will host one wine (varietal). Each team must make their way through the vineyards to locate all five stations and work as a team to decipher which wines they are tasting all the while not letting other teams know their progress.

All bottles will be disguised and the only tool provided will be a cheat sheet outlining numerous wine varietals and their most common characteristics. Hilarious outbursts begin mixed with extreme competition. Everyone will learn to work together in this team building activity.

Chef Michael Olsen, top chef at the BenchMark Winery Restaurant has worked and competed in Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, Japan, Ireland, Germany and through the southern United States. He has established himself as a pioneer of the local food movement, stewarding the development of Niagara cuisine at it's best!
